Air and Ground Transportation:
Fly into Tampa International Airport (TPA) and arrive at St. Pete Beach either by Rental Car or Supershuttle (30-40 minutes). St. Petersburg also has an airport (PIE), but far fewer flights go in and out of there. USA300 sometimes has flights from Philly to PIE.
Hotel Recommendation(s):
Jason was able to get a deal with the Howard Johnson’s on St. Pete Beach. The hotel is very close to Sunday’s events and is on the beach. Your total cost should be $301.40 for Saturday and Sunday night with tax included. Its $150.70 a night (inc tax) for whichever nights you want.
To make a reservation call 727-360-7041 EXT 6 and ask for Sue. Please be sure to mention “Sally and Jason’s Wedding” and book by Feb. 12th in order to secure the Wedding Rate. Please let us know, so we can have numbers for transportation.

If you’re trying to save a bit, the Hampton Inn in the city center is the cheapest I found. Around $98 a night, but only if you book online.
If you’re looking for fancier than the HOJO, you can’t do much nicer than the Don Ceasar. Its a little bit away, but not that far. Another thought is the Tradewinds.
